Document recognition and classification
Identifies invoices, contracts, receipts, inspection reports, identity documents and your own document types on arrival, and files them accordingly. Image similarity groups related pages and flags near-duplicates.
Entity extraction, including handwriting
Large language model based extraction pulls dates, names, amounts, references and full line-item tables from unstructured documents. Handwritten content is detected automatically and processed with a model suited to it.
Zonal OCR for fixed layouts
For structured forms with a stable layout, zonal OCR templates deliver fast, deterministic capture and complement the language model based extraction.
Validation and orchestration
Extracted values are validated for format, presence and consistency, such as header totals against line totals, and orchestrated through multi-step processing using pre-trained models for common document types.
Intelligent indexing and search
Content becomes precise metadata within seconds and every word is full-text indexed, so global search finds documents by what is written inside them, not just by file name.
Multi-language documents
Extraction has been tested on English, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu documents, with the pluggable model layer allowing region-specific models where needed.

The model layer is pluggable. Docufella connects to leading cloud language models, and for regulated environments it runs with on-premise models so that document content never leaves your infrastructure.
